in Littleton, NH Transfers Ownership

CenterPoint Business Advisors is pleased to announce the acquisition of Pennock Refrigeration, Inc. of Littleton, NH by Vermont Heating and Ventilating, Inc. of Winooski, VT.  Pennock Refrigeration is a privately held corporation owned by Stephen Pennock.

Stephen Pennock has been involved in the refrigeration and HVAC industry for 34 years.  Pennock Refrigeration, Inc. grew out of a successful retail appliance business founded in1959 by Stephen's father, Rennie Pennock.   When the appliance business was sold in the mid 1990's Stephen continued the service and installation business and changed the strategy to focus on commercial accounts.   The company serves over 1,700 customers in the Northern Connecticut River Valley.  Stephen will be assisting Vermont Heating and Ventilating with the transition for a period of time before retiring and pursuing other interests.

Vermont Heating and Ventilating, Inc. is led by David Brown and has been owned and operated by his family since 1949.  VHV has over 120 employees and is a full service mechanical contractor with commercial specialties in refrigeration, HVAC, and clean room design and build.  VHV will continue to maintain an office in the Littleton area.  Stephen’s employees will be joining the VHV family and the company plans to add additional employees to expand the company and continue the high standards of service currently enjoyed by Pennock Refrigeration's customers.
