The Old Cutter Inn Transfers Ownership

East Burke, VT - CenterPoint Business Advisors, Inc. is pleased to announce the sale of The Old Cutter Inn of East Burke, VT on April 10, 2006.  The inn and surrounding land and residential home was purchased by the Ginn Company as part of their development plans at Burke Mountain .  

The inn has been a landmark at the base of Burke Mountain since 1969.  Fritz and Marti Walthers have owned and operated the inn for over 29 years.  Fritz has been the chef at the inn and developed a loyal following of repeat customers who valued his high-quality continental and Swiss cuisine.  Marti and Fritz will retire in a new home they are building in West Burke and wish to thank everyone who have helped make the last 29 years a memorable experience.

The Ginn Company recognized the importance of this landmark inn near the base of Burke Mountain as part of their development plans.  The Ginn Company is considering options for the inn and surrounding land and will explore this as part of their master redevelopment plans.  The inn and restaurant will be closed until plans can be developed, however the team at Burke Mountain invites you to visit The Tamarack Grill located at the Sherburne Base Lodge for a unique "American Bistro" dining experience, 802-626-7390.  They also offer Mountainside Lodging, 802-626-7319.
